You already know which task it is.
It is the one you keep meaning to sort out. The newsletter you rewrite from scratch every week. The client emails you answer with roughly the same six paragraphs. The reports you build by hand. The follow-ups you forget until they are awkward.
You have probably tried asking ChatGPT to help. It sort of worked, once, and then you went back to doing it manually because setting it up properly was its own project.
That setting-it-up-properly part is what I do.

You tell me what eats your week. I tell you honestly whether AI is the right answer. Sometimes it is not, and I would rather say that than take your money.
I build it
Half the fee up front, half when it works. You do not hear from me much during this part, which is rather the point.
You use it, and I fix what is off
We get on a call, you run it yourself, and I adjust anything that does not match how you actually work. Two weeks of that is included.

Client reports
I was writing long personalised reports by hand. Now the research, the drafting and the publishing run as one process and I review the output. Same depth, a fraction of the time.
The newsletter I stopped rewriting
Raw notes go in, a draft in my own voice comes out, and I edit rather than stare at a blank page. It took three rebuilds to match how I actually work. That rebuilding is the part most people skip, and it is why their tools get abandoned.

- You want someone to run your business for you. This is one task, built once, handed over.
- You want something that replaces your judgement, or writes as you without you reading it. I will not build that.
- You do not yet know what takes up your time. Track a week first, then come back.
- You need it done this week. Ten days is ten days.
Fair questions
The things people ask first.
£600 for one task?
If it saves you two hours a week, that is roughly a hundred hours a year. Decide what your hour is worth and the maths does itself. And if we scope it and I do not think it will save you at least two hours a week, I will tell you on the call and we will not do it.
Could I not just do this with ChatGPT myself?
For some things, yes, and I will tell you when that is true. The difference is the setting up, the connecting to your actual accounts, and the fifteen small adjustments that make it fit how you work rather than how the tool wants you to work.
I am not technical.
Good. If you were, you would build it yourself. You need to be able to describe your own task. That is the only requirement.
Are there any costs beyond the £600?
Sometimes, and never from me. Depending on what we build, it may run on a third-party tool that charges its own subscription, and some of those have free tiers that are perfectly enough. I work out exactly what it needs and what it would cost during the scoping call, before you commit to anything. What is fixed is my side: £600, once, with no retainer afterwards.
What if it does not work?
Half the fee is due on delivery, not up front. If it does not do what we agreed on the scoping call, you do not pay the second half.
Will it sound like me?
Only if we build it to. That is usually the hardest part, and where most of the ten days go.
What kind of tasks suit this?
The repeating ones with a clear before and after: the newsletter, the client emails you retype every week, the reports you assemble by hand, the enquiries you sort and reply to, the notes you turn into something else. If it happens weekly and follows a shape, it is a candidate.
